The Chief Quality Executive for Orlando Health works with the executive team to support the Orlando Health strategic vision for quality improvement, regulatory compliance and all aspects of patient care that ties into Orlando Health's overall strategic plan, and supports Orlando Health's commitment to patient safety and best practice environment.

The ideal candidate will provide leadership and support to activities, processes and policies resulting in high quality patient care driven by system-wide clinical practices and standards. Work closely with the Chief Nursing Officer, Medical Staff Leadership Chair, senior leadership and quality team for an assigned hospital or company providing leadership and direction in accord with the organization's mission and values and nursing's core mission, vision and values.

Experience in leading patient care and quality initiatives in a health care system are mandatory. Must have broad experience in implementing performance improvement models. Previous medical staff leadership experience is preferred. Experience in building strategic relationships with other physicians and nurses required. Extraordinary communication skills are needed.

The position requires an MD or DO license in the state of Florida with quality improvement and patient safety skills. An MBA or MPH are strongly preferred. Must be trained as an IHI Patient Safety Executive at a system level.
