Mgr, Application Services, IS, Orlando Health. The Integration and Ambulatory Care EMR Software Support Manager is responsible for the support, analysis, and programming of the organization's multi-user software applications and related technologies including Integration Engines.
Bachelor's degree required; Prior experience with programming, integration, implementing or supporting a clinical software system is required. Five years experience with healthcare application management is required; Clinical experience is a plus.
Broad knowledge and understanding of EMRs and its use by nurses and physicians throughout a hospital environment.
This manager will focus on the Intergration and HIE efforts, ambulatory EMR system Allscripts Enterprise and other outpatient E H R's. Responsible for the support, analysis, and programming of the organization's multi-user software applications and related technologies. Develops and executes plans for software improvement that incorporate change management, release management, quality assurance, and implementation. Oversees the activities of programmers, system administrators, and other technical and professional staff in setting priorities, enforcing methodologies and standards, coordinating resources, and responding to user issues. Works productively and professionally with other members of the IS management team, and provides support and guidance to direct and/or indirect reports.
