This is an opening for a Rehabilitation Supervisor with our Outpatient Rehab Services at beautiful Dr. Phillips Hospital with Orlando Health in South Orlando.
We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in related field and current license in the State of Florida as an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist or Audiologist. CPR certification and Four years of related experience to include two years supervisory experience.
The Rehabilitation Supervisor is responsible for the day to day direction and management of the assigned business unit, including the supervision of employees and department operations. Supervises 15 or more direct reports. Works alongside professional staff evaluating and treating patients according to professional standards of practice of their specific
discipline. Interpersonal communications skills include the ability to lead, advise, instruct, inform, and listen to staff. Demonstrates judgment, and reasoning abilities to problem solve and create new opportunities for improvement. Responsible for assisting with budgeting, overseeing payroll, PIP plans, maintaining unit inventory, and participating in the hiring of employees. Responsible with Rehabilitation Manager for business assessment, growth, and development of a strategic business plan. Manages various personnel functions including hiring, work assignments, coaching plans, and disciplinary actions. Able to maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards. Able to maintain compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
